In the first half of Mark's career, he dedicated time and passion to developing and implementing growth and consolidation strategies for small businesses and multi-national corporations. Determined to blend that deep corporate finance mindset with the heart of a social worker, he learned from the ground-up and in every functional area what it takes to grow and lead successful nonprofits. Mark prioritizes transparency, authenticity and vulnerability in his partnerships with clients in their most significant transitions.
He is a graduate of the University of Texas, The University of Chicago and the Center for Nonprofit Leadership at Stanford University's Graduate School of Business. For the last 14 years, Mark has worked in the bay area's nonprofit social service community and for 22 years before that, in private equity and corporate finance.
