Katrina strengthens values-driven organizations by translating vision and mission into thriving programs, operations, and culture.

Motivated by her core values of connection, equity, and transparency, she helps non-profit leaders improve their impact, infrastructure, and unlock the potential of their teams. She joined VLC in 2021 to lead talent development initiatives including organizational assessments, search, and leadership team processes along with interim executive roles and strategic planning engagements. She has over 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector, specializing in human resources, facilitation, impact investing, grantmaking, board governance, and social entrepreneurship. Previously, she was Chief Operating Officer and Head of People at RSF Social Finance, where she led the organization through more than a decade of program expansion, change processes, and asset growth from $60M to over $200M. She has a Masters in Nonprofit Administration from the University of San Francisco, a B.A. in Urban Studies and Planning from UC San Diego, and an International Business Certificate from Niels Brock Business School in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is also a trained leadership and executive coach through the Co-Active Training Institute and is fascinated by the link between inner reflection and outer growth.
