Tahisha is a social impact strategist and organizational architect. In her work, she is driven by a fundamental principle: an organization's ability to serve its intended communities is a reflection of that organization's internal health and alignment with its values. She has dedicated 17 years of her career to redesigning systems that foster equity from within, utilizing structured and human-centered strategies. Tahisha's gift is in finding the conversation between the two.
She sees herself as an architect because she recognizes that strategic organizational design allows organizations to fulfill their mission and purpose. Through organizational assessments, strategic planning, and leadership development, Tahisha helps to align a team's work with its highest strategic aspiration. In some cases, that work might be redesigning operational workflows to create nimbleness, developing data and impact strategies to communicate success with clarity and heart, or redesigning teams to establish collective accountability and growth. At Flourish Agenda, she architected a national expansion of the organization by developing a replicable business model and narrative that translated into a solid foundation and multi-year partnerships with school districts in Boston and Philadelphia.
Ultimately, Tahisha's goal is to ensure her clients see a positive, measurable return on their investment in a social impact strategy and realize the promise of their mission for the communities that need it the most.
Tahisha holds a Master of Social Work from the University at Albany and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Pace University. She serves her community as Board President for Envision Your Pathway, a youth workforce development nonprofit. She also contributes to the organization design community by experimenting with different ways to work in a modern context. When she is not redesigning systems, she works on her numerous house projects, leveraging her skills as a certified interior decorator. She is a proud New Yorker and draws collective strength and warmth from the breadth of music, including musicals, live concerts, and any sound that permeates the air. To her, all are an illustrative metaphor of her work-- a collage of different voices and parts coming together to form a captivating story that is interesting, connected, and harmonious.
